DRUMMOND — One person died Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle rollover crash west of Drummond.
Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson reports at 8:53 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to a crash near mile marker 135 on Interstate 90, west of Drummond.
Sheriff Dunkerson says the preliminary investigation shows the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and died as a result of blunt force trauma.
The Granite County Sheriff/Coroner’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
