UPDATE

The section of Montana Highway 35 that was closed Friday morning due to a rockslide has reopened to traffic.


ORIGINAL REPORT

A rockslide is blocking a section of Montana Highway 35 along the east side of Flathead Lake.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports the road is blocked four miles north of Finley Point.

MHP reports the Montana Department of Transportation is responding to the scene.

Drivers should avoid Highway 35 and instead use U.S. Highway 93.
