WHITEFISH — The Whitefish City Council voted Monday night to implement tighter COVID-19 restrictions over the Halloween weekend.
Those restrictions include limiting the social gathering size to no more than 10 people with proper social distancing in place.
Capacity at bars, restaurants, casinos, and distilleries would be set at 75 percent and must close by 11:30 p.m.
The restrictions will be in place Friday, October 30th, and Saturday, October 31st.
Whitefish City Manager Dana Smith told MTN earlier Monday the restrictions would help to avoid a “Super-Spreader” event.
This vote comes 11 days after the Flathead County Health Board voted against additional community health measures.
