MISSOULA — A 42-year-old Thompson Falls woman died in an early Saturday morning crash on Montana Highway 200.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports the victim was traveling eastbound near mile marker 46 when her Jeep Wrangler drifted over the center line, went off the road and hit a tree.
The woman was pronounced dead at an area hospital. MHP reports that alcohol is suspected to have been a factor in the crash.
The victim's name has not been released.
