MISSOULA — Drivers across parts of west-central and northwest Montana will find a few icy and snowy roads Saturday morning.
Drifting and blowing snow will also significantly reduce visibility at times as snow continues to fall and wind gusts reach 40-45 MPH.
MDT lists road conditions across I-90 (west of Missoula) and most roads across the northwest as scattered snow/ice.
As of 9 AM, MT-35 was still listed as emergency travel only from Polson to Yellow Bay. MDT and local law enforcement are urging drivers to stay off this road, because high winds continued to knock down trees overnight.
A High Wind Warning continues for Flathead Lake, Flathead and Mission Valleys, and Polson until 11 AM Saturday.
