MISSOULA — A weak weather system will bring light snow back to the forecast Thursday to northwest Montana.

West-central and southwest Montana will remain dry Thursday with high temperatures ranging from the low to upper 30's. Snow will then move into west-central and southwest Montana Thursday night.

An inch or two of snow will be possible for all valleys waking up Friday morning with anywhere from 2"-to-5" for the mountains. Snow will come to an end by sunrise Friday.

The rest of the day will then see a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures in the low to middle 30's.

High pressure will start to build this weekend and continue through the beginning of next week which will lead to a milder and drier weather pattern.

The highs will be in the low to middle 30's Saturday, then warm into the upper 30's to middle 40's Sunday and those temperatures will continue into next week.
